Jackopiece the bandI have left the house only once in the last week and that was a trip to the doctor. This was the worst flu ever. I’m on the mend now, just in time for rain. Looks like I’ll continue to be penned up indoors for a few more days.

This week I’m sharing the albums to spin next time your sick.

  • August and Everything After | counting crows. A well put together album that has been on the hitlist before and will again. Very relaxing. Helps my mind escape.
  • Bringing on the Weather | jackopierce. There’s a good chance you haven’t heard of this folk rock duo. A real unique band that I stumbled on back in 1995 and haven’t looked back. Good story telling and the occasional southern drawl leaks through.
  • Continuum | john mayer. A rich album that makes me feel alive. Which is a good thing when you’re sick.
