Adam Watts Kills It

by Vince on May 19, 2008

I have to say that the last 10…ish years have been pretty weak for ‘Christian’ music. I will say that worship music has been doing well and progressing nicely.

There have been very few refreshing albums of late. Adam Watts put out an album in 2004 that is still getting heavy rotation in my life. Here’s a sample.

Mute Math and Mat Kearney also dropped some good stuff recently…haven’t seen much else.

Please enlighten me with stuff you have been digging.

Dude… Thanks for this post! I wasn’t aware of Adam Watts but I’m going to run out and get some of his stuff based on that video alone! Awesome!

BTW, MuteMath and Kearney are some of my favorites too. From what I understand MuteMath is in the studio recording their second full album to be released in September 2008! Can’t wait!

Yea, this is awesome stuff!

Just bought both albums on Amazon MP3 and they’re being played continuously. I’m going to blog about him too (I’ll be sure to mention your post)

Nice. Check out John Mark McMillan. Like the above, it’s worship music for the person who aint a fan of “worship” music.

Likewise thumbs up on McMillan. I was considering buying it until I saw the “explicit” rating on Amazon. LOL http://twurl.nl/zooecb

I think one of Matt Redman’s praise albums is labeled “explicit” on iTunes too. Classic.
