Our new teaching series starts in a few weeks. We will be going through Hebrews for the whole summer. Last week I posted John Piper’s view on the prosperity gospel. I tend to feel the same way he does.
But are you prepared for what goes with that? Am I prepared to say to God; ‘You are enough.’
Or deep inside am I expecting health, wealth and prosperity? I know I want them.
Yeah man, I don’t know. That clip hits me hard every time. I hope, but won’t assume, that I would say,”God you are enough” if my little girl died in a horrific tragedy. I am glad you and your family are praying for the Chapman family, because that’s where they’re at right now.

man thanks for posting that clip, i posted it on supersimbo and have watched it loads in the last 2 days. I have a friend who embodies the core of this message, he lost his wife to cancer a few weeks ago and his trust in God brings me to tears. Tears of shame for my own doubts and lack of faith and tears that break me, inspire me to rest in God, to bring glory to HIS name at all costs
