Fail | Focus in the Family Prays for Rain

Focus on the Family trying to be funny…fail. I’m not saying that I disagree or agree with Focus on the Family. But public perception of them is not great at this point in history. This didn’t help:

    Wow!

Whether focus on the family is right or wrong in what it believes, I just cannot vote against something. I want to vote…or stand for something.

We tend to get it backwards, we want people to claim our morals and then become Christians, when it should be the other way around

Wouldn’t it be funny if it rained JUST over Focus on the Family?

He keeps asking the question over and over “Would it be wrong to pray for rain as a disaster?” Yes it would. That is called Witchcraft praying. It is not even good to joke about that kind of thing. We are never to pray for a disaster to fall on anyone. We pray blessings, not curses.Too many in the church pray these kind of curses and they are the ones who cause the Body of Christ to lose its spiritual strength. Here is something I wrote about it two months ago: http://natomaschurch.wordpress.com/2008/06/07/friendly-fire-curse-prayers/
