Like I mentioned earlier, Nikao is coming up on being a year old. I have really enjoyed what this thing has become…and at times I’m not really sure what it has become. And I have enjoyed interacting with the massive dozens of people that frequent this mess.
What indicates a good post? Is it comments?
Looking at the last few days, my post updating folks on my new theme got a few. I wouldn’t consider it a ‘good’ post, it was merely a housekeeping update.
Where as the post comparing Brocken Spectre with vision and leadership was pure genius…right? No comments.
Is it stats? Pink Floyd is the biggest draw to nikao when you look at the stats. I wasn’t even trying to tap into that market…I think.
So I ask you, faithful reader of nikao…

Randomly found your post (yesterday) on the Death of Youth Ministry and it got me hooked. I’m working through some of your older stuff to see if you’re worth my time. j/k
I like that you seem willing to dig in and wrestle with the messy stuff… that’s something that takes more energy than most people are willing to expend.

Why am I here? We have never met but connections can still be made online.
Connections were made because of location (California), profession (church leadership, media design), interests (media resources, music, sports), and lastly community (someone who interacts with you online via comments, emails).
These are areas that I am interested in, that catch my attention.

I actually recently cleaned up my feeder and Nikao remained. I gave it a read months ago due to the greek header and have liked the variety and insight ever since. I resonate with nikao politically and theologically at times. Not quite left not quite right. not quite traditional not quite over the top emergent.
