Yammer Loving

I have been keeping an eye on Yammer for a few months now. The concept looked like it would be perfect for our mobile staff at Impact Church.

Yammer is just like twitter in the way it functions. The difference being that the only community you have is with people in your organization. The way Yammer does this is by the domain name, in our case this is impactchurch.tv. You have to have an impactchurch.tv email address to get into our group.

From what I can tell, we are going to get a lot of use out of it, I will keep you posted.

    Thank you my friend….
    Not sure if my church will ever use this (I could only wish) but I just got a couple of co-workers at my day-job set up and WOW! Amazing tool. Like Twitter only better! Twitter could definitely take notes on how they’ve set things up.

    I love Yammer. A couple of us at the office have been trying it out. Nothing big yet, but much better then Google IM’ing for inter-office stuff.
