You are what you listen to | music taste and SAT scores
I love when info comes my way that confirms my suspicions. For example this chart that compares music taste and SAT scores. I don’t remember what I scored on my SAT but according to the chart I should be in the 1200 range with a few of my favorite bands, and . Not to mention the fact I don’t see much that I dig below the 1000 mark.
I must however confess that the lowest ranking artist in my collection is Jay-Z.
So if I tell you my favourites on here range from Beyonce to Beethoven…and my SAT score doesn't exist because we don't have it down here…does that make me smartly dumb, or dumbly smart?

i guess i'm smarter than i thought, actually i'm kind of all over the map. funny how rap and country are all towards the dumb side.

norah jones is jazz. it's pretty high

Jazz, some times I find it pretentious at best. I get the basic concept but like modern art, sometimes it sounds like something my nephew Steele could do.

Haha
pretentious…I feel the same way about Sufjan Stevens

I think Kanye's a couple hundred points higher than he should be.
And what does it mean if there's no music in your range?
