A conversation about homosexuality
This morning at Gateway Church we had a beautiful and amazing gathering to wrap up our teaching series on sex. Today’s topic was homosexuality and the conversation that took place was powerful. As the panel took the stage they received a standing ovation and the moment brought tears to my eyes…for real, I cried. If you have the time, you should watch this:

Would love to watch the video, but vimeo says "the creator of this video has not given you permission to embed it on this domain."
Is that a problem at my end?

Just watched the whole thing…was pretty skeptical up front to be honest, but ended up being pretty impressed with this. What a touchy, difficult topic to embrace from the pulpit. kudos.

Thank you for sharing these amazing stories. Through them I have learned so much more about totally trusting God with my life and giving my strugles to him. I have not been touched by the spirit like this in a very long time, even though I attend my own church in So. California regularly. thank you thank you thank you
though I have no struggles with accepting homosexual people and am heterosexual…I needed everything you all shared. I hope to have such total faith and trust myself one day.

It's very eyeopening to hear the real stories from real people. It makes me see my judgment for what it is.
Thanks for sharing this. It's very convicting.

Hi
I totally agree. Back in the 70's, I learned that God loved Hippies and Homo's they were called then. Once I ask Jew's for Jesus what to do w/ my Jewish friends….it is all the same. LOVE THEM. My sins aren't there business and their sins aren't my business….but, we are commanded to Love. Here we have many gay and lesbian friends and usually, I love them more than the straight ones!

I completely understand the complexity of both sides dealing with homosexuality. My question is usually why are some many "Christians" so against gays and lesbians. If we're going to call is SIN, other than Jesus Himself, EVERYONE else has sin. So, what verse in the Bible says which sin is worse than the other? I know the answer, but I wonder is many of the condemning ones know the answer. I know for a fact there are many great loving Christians, wouldn't it be a better world, if we were all that way?
