Center for Church Communication | Regional Network Coordinators

The Center for Church Communication is doing some cool things to help the ‘C’hurch in America communicate the most important story…Jesus:

“Churches have the greatest story ever told, but they don’t know how to tell it. We think there’s a communication problem. That remarkable story is lost thanks in part to poor research, little or no planning, bad clip art, cheesy photos and ignorable ads”

You may not have heard of the Center for Church Communication, but chances are you have visited their Church Marketing Sucks blog.

This last fall the CFCC appointed a board of directors and also appointed Cynthia Ware as their executive director. One strategy that is being initiated is to build a network of leaders around the country who dwell in church communication space and they asked me to represent the Austin, TX area, which is an honor I excitedly have excepted.

The Task:

  • Grow our network of church comm professionals
  • Promote the good, the true & the beautiful in church communication
  • Support church comm professionals with resources, mentorship, training, etc.

The Team (so far):

Basically this team is here to be the eyes and ears for the CFCC throughout the country and to help network more people who are passionate and gifted in communicating the most important story.

If you’re involved in communications at your church, connect with the closest person to you on that list and watch for more to come.

Totally pumped to be involved in this as well. I am excited to see the Church embracing new ways to communicate the wonderful message of Christ.
