I have to say that the last 10…ish years have been pretty weak for ‘Christian’ music. I will say that worship music has been doing well and progressing nicely.

There have been very few refreshing albums of late. Adam Watts put out an album in 2004 that is still getting heavy rotation in my life. Here’s a sample.

Mute Math and Mat Kearney also dropped some good stuff recently…haven’t seen much else.

Please enlighten me with stuff you have been digging.

Fall seems to have shown up here in Southern California with a vengeance. It’s cold and rainy and effecting what music I want to hear. So here is this weeks hit list.

• Pearl Jam | vs. – When it’s rainy why not dip into the Seattle section of your iTunes. This is my favorite PJ album.
• Patsy Cline | Greatest Hits – Nothing says warm and cozy like my mom’s all time favorite music. I grew up on Patsy, I’ve always loved it and I always will.
• Adam Watts | The Noise Inside – This album feels like winter to me. One of the better ‘Christian’ albums of late.
