Francis Chan on Bin Laden

I thought I was all alone in my grief. Sure, bad things will no longer be done by Osama Bin Laden on this planet; but quite frankly I don’t live a world view that is so narrow as to be that focused on this life. There is more. I don’t know all the answers but recent events made me pause and take inventory of my own humanity and the fact that I DESERVE DEATH.

2 reasons to go to Verge

#1 :: It’s in Austin. Everyone needs a reason to come to Austin. It’s pretty much the coolest city in the country that you forgot about.

#2 :: Rudy’s. It may not be traditional Texas dry rub BBQ, but it rocks.

There is also a pretty killer line up of speakers at Verge likeĀ  Francis Chan, Alan Hirsch and Gateway Church‘s own John Burke.

Not to mention the fact that this conference comes at a pretty low cost relatively speaking.

Let me know if you’re coming so we can hang out.
