after about 2 minutes of listening to the new Gorillaz album last Tuesday I immediately went to Amazon and downloaded it. Right away you new Stylo was going to be the first single. Great song. And based on the ending I bet you can guess which song will be the next video. And it’s also one of my early favorites.

One of the things I got my 5 year old daughter Ashtynne for Christmas was a CD player for her room. Of course it is pink. I also sat down with her and went through iTunes to put together a cool CD for her to rock. The disc is full of a combination of all time classics and a few jams that I know she digs. We always have music pumping in our house, it’s a huge part of our family life. Here are some of the highlights.

• Hallelujah | jeff buckley. One of the most covered songs in history. Written by Leonard Coehen. I think she likes it because it was in Shrek.
• Here is Our King | david crowder. Currently this is Ashtynne’s favorite song. It’s the first thing she puts on in her room and she always wants to hear it in the car.
• Feel Good Inc. | gorillaz. There is something about the Gorillaz that my kids totally dig. I think they are cool because I’m a long time Blur fan.
